Chuck was born in the southeastern United States. He is a veteran of the Vietnam era, having served in the US Air Force and Army. He, like a lot of others, is chasing the elusive dream, which he once thought he had found, only to have it elude him again. He is an avid history enthusiast, especially of medieval and early American history. He enjoys traveling to places he has never been before, particularly foreign lands, and has a fondness for old European castles.
