Michael Hood has read and discussed
his poetry at all levels of public education. He has done
the same on radio, for those institutionalized from emotional
and mental disorders, and at public libraries, churches, and
a museum. His poems have appeared in many academic and non-academic
literary publications, and in newspapers. His academic degrees
are in history, literature, and library science. Hood, author
of Cranberry Smoke, resides in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He
currently is working on two books relating to a 23,000 mile
venture to all Cistercian monasteries in the United States:
Motorcycle Prayer-Poems, and Journeys of a Motorcycle Pilgrim.
